WHO I AM
Innovative executive with 25+ years of experience leading a diverse range of strategic functions across large, respected corporations to new, entrepreneurial enterprises. I've led teams through significant transformational programs, from business strategy development through operational execution of those strategies.
WHAT I DO
I have knowledge across a significant breadth of enterprises. These include large programs in life sciences, digital tech transformation, global business and shared services, information technology, process redesign and systems development, R&D, analytical software development, and management consulting.
Specifically, I have led organizations to achieve results rapidly in biopharmaceutical R&D, healthcare technology, contract research organizations, biomedical informatics, real world data systems, software application systems, analytics, workforce optimization strategies, information technology R&D, operational innovation, and due diligence for investment, partnership and acquisition.
Currently, I am the senior executive in charge of a unique 600-person center for operational excellence and innovation for Bristol-Myers Squibb in the Tampa Bay region of Florida. I led the teams to evaluate the initiative, build the business and financial models, implement an efficient transfer of roles and knowledge, formulate governance models, and implement the strategic site relocation strategy for this new BMS innovation--in under eight months.
Upon completion of this work, I was named site executive and head of what is now the Bristol-Myers Squibb North America Capability Center, which opened in January, 2014, and now includes 600 colleagues. In mid-2015, my responsibilities expanded globally.
I'm proud that our innovative centers for strategic operational innovation have become a lynchpin of our new strategy.
Now, we thrive in the vibrant Tampa Bay region, and have already won multiple awards as a great place to work, and for our community focus across our local communities.
My focus is to execute through a business culture that brings together over 35 cross-divisional units. We deliver critical processes, analysis and services through talented, diverse teams of knowledge workers–93% of whom are hired locally.
I'm proud that our people work closely to bridge disparate functions, from R&D to IT to Finance. This novel approach enables teams to help rapidly deliver medicines to patients with serious, unmet medical needs.
